M87 Studio
[Terms / public website]

Use the work responsibly.

These terms govern the public M87 Studio website. A signed proposal, statement of work, license, or product agreement controls paid work when its terms differ.

Information, demos, and availability

Public material is provided for general information. Demo, beta, experiment, evidence-review, and public-source labels are deliberate maturity boundaries—not promises of production readiness, uninterrupted availability, or support.

Services

A listed service or price is not acceptance of a project. Scope, dependencies, rights, timing, payment schedule, revisions, cancellation, and acceptance are bound in the applicable written agreement. Published prices are in USD. Checkout is never an open catalog purchase: an eligible project must first be qualified, and M87 Studio may then issue a private, expiring approval link for Mastering, Remote Session Vocals, or the M87 Signal Audit. All other services remain inquiry-only, quoted, invitation-only, or externally booked.

Payment, cancellation, and refunds

Qualified services at or below $500 USD are generally paid in full before work begins. Services above that amount generally use the deposit or milestone schedule in the written agreement; small live engagements at or below $750 USD are paid in full at booking. The fixed-scope $995 USD M87 Signal Audit is the explicit exception and is paid in full through an owner-approved checkout link. Before M87 accepts inputs, reserves a date, or begins work, cancellation receives a full refund less any customer-approved third-party cost already committed. After work begins, completed work and committed costs remain payable, and any refund is limited to the unperformed portion. If M87 cancels, undelivered work is refunded.

Delivery, revisions, and retention

Delivery windows begin only after required inputs pass review and the applicable payment clears. Rush work is availability-dependent; a 25% rush charge applies only when the requested schedule compresses a published standard window by at least one-third. Sound-service revision requests are due within seven calendar days of delivery, without waiving a latent technical defect. Systems work is accepted only by its written tests and milestones—silence is not acceptance. Customers should download final files promptly; working files are normally retained for at least 120 days after final delivery.

Intellectual property

M87 Studio names, marks, original site material, music, images, and non-public systems remain protected by their applicable rights. Public repositories are governed by the license in each repository. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners. No other license is granted by viewing or linking to the site.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site, bypass access controls, probe for secrets, submit unlawful or unauthorized material, impersonate another person, or use the site to violate another party's rights.

Risk and responsibility

Creative judgment, business decisions, and AI-assisted outputs require human review. Outcomes are not guaranteed. To the extent allowed by law, the public site is provided as available without warranties beyond those expressly stated in a signed agreement.

Contact and governing law

Questions may be sent to mac@m87studio.net. These public-site terms are governed by applicable law in Oregon, without displacing mandatory rights that apply to you.

Changes

M87 Studio may update these public-site terms prospectively. The updated date above identifies the version in effect. A signed agreement is not changed by an update to this page unless that agreement expressly says otherwise.
